Chassis:
Finished in Belgian's national racing colour yellow, this 275 GTB/C was sold new to Ecurie Francorchamps. Piloted by Claude Bubois and Pierre Noblet, it was driven to 10th overall and second in class in the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans. Later in the month, Lucien Bianchi won the Mont Ventoux Hill Climb outright in chassis 09027. It crashed out of the Marathon de la Route and was repaired at Scaglietti. In 1967, it was sold to the United Kingdom. Following a single fruitless outing at Montlhery, it was retired from contemporary racing. In the subsequent decades, it has passed through the hands of many noted collectors like Peter Sachs, Hartmut Ibing, Yoshino Matsuda and Anthony Bamford. Repainted red with a yellow stripe, it has in more recent years been a regular in the Tour Auto.
