Chassis:
The first of the two LM64s built, this was the car entered in the 24 Hours of Le Mans with #45 for Guy Verrier and Pierre Lelong. After qualifying 55th, they were forced to retire with a gearbox failure. Only raced once, chassis 64/1 was retained by Deutsch for 15 years before it was sold to a French collector. It has since been restored to full running order by French specialists EPAF. Many of the original components were retained and the original, Michelin tyres that were specifically developed for the LM64 are still with the car. Following its restoration, it has been regularly raced, most notably at the 2004 Le Mans Classic where it lined up alongside its sister car.
