Chassis:
Entered at Le Mans for André Guilhaudin and Alain Bertault, the second LM64 competed under the #44. It qualified just ahead of the sister car in 54th but was also the first of the two to retire when the air-cooled flat-twin failed. CD retained the car until 1981 and in the following years, it was displayed in the Le Mans museum. Chassis 64/2 was later also shown in Adrian Maeght's museum in Mougins, France. Restored to full running order, it was raced at the 2004 Le Mans Classic and later also shown alongside its sister car at Retromobile. In the hands of its then, British owner, it was exercised more recently at two consecutive Goodwood Festivals of Speed.
