Chassis:
One of the original Porsche 908 works cars, this example was first raced by the factory at the 1968 Spa 1000 km. It was entered for Vic Elford and Jochen Neerpasch, who qualified fourth on the grid. Sadly the race was cut short on only lap two when Neerpasch slid off the slippery track and hit a telephone pole. Not raced again in period, the repaired car was eventually sold to Switzerland. It was discovered by Dale Millen in the late 1990s and after it was sold to Bill Ferren, it was completely restored. The current owner acquired the rare works Porsche in 2006 and has since regularly raced it in historic events.
