Chassis:
The 9th of 12 Ferrari 275 GTB/Cs built, this example was not sold to a racing team or a gentleman racer. Instead it was acquired by a private company from Milan and registered for the road using Bologna plates. Remaining in Milan, it was then sold in 1967 and again in 1969. It was this third owner, who first raced the car in a minor hill climb. During the early 1970s, it was acquired by a Dutch collector Paul Schouwenburg, who soon after sold the car again but it remained in The Netherlands until 1995. The highly original 275 GTB/C's was campaigned by the next custodian in a variety of events including several editions of the Tour Auto. After a 19-year ownership, it was offered at the 2014 RM Sotheby's Monaco sale and found a new owner for €5.7 million. During the next three years, it was submitted to a comprehensive restoration. Once the work was completed, chassis 09067 was shown at the 2017 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. In 2022, it was consigned by its American owner to RM Sotheby's flagship Monterey sale.
