Chassis:
Shown at the 1956 Geneva Motor Show, this was the penultimate 250 Europa GT built and the only one clothed by Scaglietti. Although intended as a show car, it served as one of the prototypes of the '14-louvre' 250 GT competition car. The car featured an all-aluminium body, penned by Pinin Farina. Following its show duties, chassis 0425GT was sold to prominent Ferrari client Enrico Wax Vitale. Before the end of the 1950s, the 250 Europa GT was sold to the United States where the one-off Ferrari passed through various hands before it was acquired by the current custodian in the late 2000s. He had the car completely restored and was promptly awarded with 'Best in Class' at the 2013 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
