Chassis:
One of two chassis built in 1967 but not used that season, chassis J-9 was later completed as one of the two G7-A Can-Am cars. Although it was not raced in this guise, it was tested by Mario Andretti. Both G7-As were sold by Ford to Charlie and Kerry Agapiou. While they campaigned J-10 as a Can-Am spyder, this chassis was again left un-raced. It was eventually rebuilt as a Mk IV. In this guise, it was acquired by the current owner in 2013. He had it restored and picked it up hours before showing it at the Concours on the Avenue in Carmel. Later in the year, it also raced at the Goodwood Revival in a special GT40 race. In 2021, it was consigned to the Bonhams Quail Lodge auction as one of the headliners.
