One of the final 250 MMs produced, this Pinin Farina Berlinetta was sold new to Paolo Ferrari finished in dark blue. Shortly after, it was acquired by Swedish privateer racer Mas-Olle Persson and repainted light blue. In this guise, it was raced in Scandinavia by Persson in 1954 and subsequently by Carl Lohmander in 1955. Following its contemporary racing career it was briefly owned by Jo Bonnier twice and later was part of the prominent collections of Pierre Bardinon and Peter Glaesel. During this time the car was repainted red but in the ownership of the current American custodian chassis 0344MM was restored to its original colours.
