Chassis:
Chassis 50014 was one of the 8C 35s sold to South America after its works racing career. Before shipping the Alfa Romeo to Argentina, its new owner, Carlos Arzani first raced the car in Naples. He was very successful with the car before he sold it on. In the subsequent years, the car was reportedly fitted with an easier to run 6C 2500 before it disappeared. Since then two cars have been 'discovered' both claiming the identity of 50014. This particular car was returned to Europe in the early 1990s in dismal condition and subsequently restored to full running order by Paul Grist.
