Chassis:
The fourth Single Louvre 250 GT TdF built, this was the only one of all four generations sold new to Sweden. Through Ferrari's Swedish importer, Tore Bjurstörm, it was sold to Sture Nottorp, who had previously successfully campaigned a Ferrari 410 S sports racer. He raced the 250 GT TdF in the Reims 12 Hours before selling it on. Several subsequent owners struggled to keep the car and engine in one piece. By 1972, it ended up in the care of Lars Saaf; a Saab-Scania engineer. He intended to restore the car but never got around to it.
In 2006, chassis 0903GT was finally retrieved from Sweden by French collector/dealer Jean Guikas. The car was completely disassembled and arrived in boxes. It took over a year to restore but then Guikas struggled to find a new custodian for the car. After Gooding's 2010 Pebble Beach auction, it eventually joined the collection of the current, California-based owner. Before showing it, he had it restored again by Motion Products mainly to return the nose to its original shape. A new interior was also fitted and the TdF was returned to a period correct paintscheme. The work was completed in early in 2012 and chassis 0903GT has since been shown at various major events on both sides of the Atlantic. In 2019, it was consigned to the Gooding Pebble Beach Auctions.
