Chassis: 1357GT
One of the very last 250 GT LWB TdF competition cars built, this example was sold new to Algeria-based racer Pierre Dumay. Painted metallic grey, it was raced with great success in local events throughout 1959, scoring several outright and class victories. Ahead of the 1960 season, it returned to Italy where its competition success continued in the hands of Edoardo Lualdi and Armando Zampiero. By the mid-1960s, it was sold off to the United States and since the mid-1980s, it has been part of a prominent American collection.
