Chassis:
One of the two 767s used during the 1988 season, this car debuted at Le Mans with a 19th place finish. Late in the year, it scored a GTP class win at Fuji. Converted to 767B specification, it was subsequently raced with the now legendary Charge livery the following season. Its best result was a class win at Suzuka, while it also finished 9th at Le Mans. Still owned by Mazda, it has now been entrusted to the North American arm. Following a two-year restoration at the specialist shop of Jim Downing, it burst back into life at the 2016 Monterey Motorsports Pre-Reunion.
