Chassis: 962-004BM
One of the new cars campaigned by the Brun Motorsport team in 1989, this chassis first raced in the World Championship round at Suzuka where Walter Brun and Jesus Pareja finished 18th. Although always raced by the factory team in 1989, chassis 004BM appeared in four different liveries depending on the championship it appeared ran in: Repsol, Jagermeister, Alpha and the Eterna livery it still wears to this day. Its final contemporary appearance was at the Daytona 24 Hours early in 1990. It was fastest in the pre-season test but ultimately did not start the race after an accident in practice. Halfway through the 1990s, it was sold by Brun to a Swiss enthusiast. A decade later, it was offered in Bonhams' Silverstone Classic sale but bids failed to meet the pre-sale reserve.
