Chassis:
Liveried for most rounds in Brun's familiar Jagermeister colours, this example was campaigned by the 'factory' team throughout the 1989 season. It debuted at Dijon in the hands of Oscar Larrauri and Stanley Dickens but they failed to reach the finish. Its best result of the year came at the next race, the ADAC event at Diepholtz where it placed second. At the season finale, in Mexico, the car was unfortunately damaged in practice and could not take part in the race. In 1990, the damaged car was acquired by Willy Koenig and still not repaired it was sold on to Tony O'Neill in 1998. He commissioned specialists Group C ltd. to rebuild the car to full running order. They received help from John Thompson himself, who used the original tooling to mend the chassis. The car was fitted with a 3.2-litre flat six engine and prepared for historic racing. It has since changed hands again and the most recent owner is an Australian collector and historic racer.
