Chassis:
Completed in August of 1950, this Le Mans Replica was sold new to privateer racer Bob Gerard. He campaigned the car with considerable success both on the British isles and the continent. Among the first successes for chassis 119 was a class victory in the 1950 TT at Dundrod, a feat repeated in 1951. With the cycle fenders removed, the car was also briefly raced as a Formula 2 in 1952 car but with no notable results. During its fourth season, this Frazer Nash was primarily used in long distance events, competing at Le Mans, Reims and Goodwood. Gerard's last race in this car came in April of 1954, which was well in its fifth season of racing. The Le Mans Replica's subsequent owners all cherished it and continued its racing career. For the 2008 Monaco Historic Grand Prix, it was loaned to Sir Stirling Moss, who had raced against Gerard and chassis 119 in period.
