Chassis:
This is one of the seven 126 C4s constructed for the 1984 season. It was raced by Michele Albereto in five Grands Prix and served as a back-up car for several more. After its active career it was sold to the Matsuda Collection. It was subsequently sold to an American historic racer, who drove the car on various occasions before selling the car again. After a thorough restoration it was offered during Christie's 2007 Retromobile Auction where the offers made failed to meet the reserve set.
