Chassis:
This is the second 126 C4 built for the 1984 season. It was raced three times by Michele Alboreto with a 12th in the South African Grand Prix. During four other races, chassis 072 served as a T-car. It was subsequently sold to an Italian collector, who retained it for nearly two decades. In 2002 the 126 C4 was offered in Bonhams annual Gstaad auction but offers failed to meet the reserve. Chassis 072 did eventually change hands and was restored to full running order. It is seen here during the 2009 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
