Pressed into service after Cevert damaged the original 006, this car debuted at the fateful 1973 United States Grand Prix. Cevert crashed the 006/3 fatally in turn 4 during qualifying in what was one of the most horrendous accidents in Formula 1's history. Understandably, the heavily damaged car was not rebuilt.
