Chassis:
Most like constructed as a works 125 F1, this car was fitted with a two-litre V12, re-stamped 112 (or 0112) and sold to a customer in 1951 as a 166 F2. It is believed to have been a works car in 1949 and before it was re-engined, it was loaned to Giovanni Bracco, who used it to win the 1950 Italian Hill Climb Championship. As a 166 F2, it was used in 1951 by Scuderia Guastalla in Formula 2 events, and may later also have been raced by Maurice Trintingnant and Armand Philippe for Ecurie Rosier.
