Chassis:
This Capri was built for Ford Motor Company ltd. by specialists Broadspeed ahead of the 1973 season. Powered by a three-litre Weslake engine, it was driven to the Belgian Touring Car Championship by Claude Bourgogne. Later in the year, it was also used in England by Andy Rouse. For the 1974 season, it was sold to Bo Emanuelson, who used it to win the Swedish Touring Car Championship. At the end of the year, it was shipped to Ford Cologne where it was rebuilt with the latest 3.4-litre specification engine. Chassis BFC 002 was then raced throughout Europe by Ford until it was acquired by Vince Woodman in 1977. He would continue to race the car in contemporary and then historic events through to 2012. It has since been raced with great success by British specialists JD Classics.
