Chassis:
One of the 1985 works cars, this chassis was campaigned as a Mercury Capri by Wiley T. Ribbs in the Trans-Am championship. He scored seven victories and earned more prize money in one season than any Trans-Am driver before. He nevertheless ended the year second to his team-mate Wally Dallenbach Jr., who was just 22 years old at the time. As a Ford Mustang, it was then driven to the IMSA GTO championship by Scott Pruett in 1986. During the following two years, it continued to be raced by the Roush team with Deborah Gregg and Wally Dallenbach Jr. behind the wheel. It has since been restored to its 1986 IMSA GTO championship winning guise.
