Chassis:
The fourth of five DN4s built, this example never saw action during the 1974 Can-Am winning campaign. It was pressed into service two years later when Don Nichols was invited to enter a car in the World Championship round at Mosport, which was greatly lacking entrants. Jackie Oliver qualified the car on pole and would go on to win the race ahead of a McLaren M20 and a Porsche 936. Nichols retained the car and kept it in storage until offering the World Championship round winning DN4 at Mecum's 2012 Monterey sale. The new owner has seen recommissioned the beautifully preserved Shadow for use in historic racing.
