Chassis:
Built by David Sutton Motorsport for Audi Sport UK (hence the chassis number), this Quattro was first raced in the 1983 Lombard RAC rally by Stig Blomqvist. Beating the works entered Quattros, he won the prestigious event outright. In 1984, it was used by Hannu Mikkola in the British Rally Championship, scoring two victories. At the end of the year Mikkola placed the 1983 winner second in the RAC rally. In 1985, it was briefly used by David Llewellin before it was acquired by Ignacio Sunsundegui, who used it in desert rallies. It was later bought back by David Sutton and restored to its 1983 livery. He displayed it for many years in his spectacular museum before offering all the cars for sale in 2008.
