Chassis:
The most successful of all DN5s built, chassis 2A was raced by Tom Pryce throughout the 1975 season. The Welshman started off with a ninth at the South African Grand Prix. He then scored Shadow's very first Formula 1 victory by winning the Race of Champions at Brands Hatch. His point scoring finishes at Zolder, Zandvoort, the Nürburgring and the Osterreichring helped Shadow move up to sixth in the championship. The car was last raced in period in the United States Grand Prix at Watkins Glen. Still in American ownership, it is now a regular in the Monaco Historic Grand Prix.
