Chassis:
The second 908/02 owned by Hans-Dieter Dechent, this example was campaigned by his B.G. Racing Team during the 1969 season with a third at Kyalami as the best result. Resplendent in International Martini Racing Team colours, it was raced with considerable success in 1970. Rudi Lins won his class at Spa and Watkins Glen, partnering with Gerard Larousse and Helmut Marko respectively. After a single outing in 1971, this 908/02 Spyder was retired from contemporary racing. It has since been restored to its 1970 Martini Racing livery.
