Chassis:
The first of the twelve wide body Corvettes built by John Greenwood, this example was not used until the Daytona Finale in 1975. Greenwood once again dominated the race after starting from pole. Liveried in the Spirit of Sebring '76 colours, it was then raced at Daytona and Sebring, where it started on pole but failed to finish due to a clutch failure. At Daytona the race had also ended early for chassis 001 due to an engine issue. In the remainder of the season, the Corvette was campaigned by Levitt Racing for Mike Brockman but with limited success. The final contemporary outing for this car came at the 1979 Sebring 12 Hours. During the 1980s, it was completely restored to its original specification and livery, and since 1987 it has been owned by the same Corvette enthusiast.
