One of the works supported cars, this car may have been raced by Chuck Parsons in 1968 with Simoniz backing. It was certainly pressed into service for Parsons in 1970, when it was owned by Doug Shierson. It was raced with a T163 body but without the rear wing. Parsons' best result was a fourth at Mid-Ohio. Under new ownership, it was raced occasionally in the next few years. During the 1980s, it was campaigned in historic meetings in the United Kingdom and then in 1985, it joined Peter Kaus' impressive Rosso Bianco Collection. After the entire collection was bought in one go, it was offered at auction in 2006 and acquired by the current owner. He had it completely restored to its 1970 guise.
