Chassis:
Completed in June of 1966, this 275 GTB/C was just ready in time for its Le Mans entry by the British Ferrari agent Maranello Concessionaires. Finished in the easily recognisable colours, the car was driven by Roy Pike and Piers Courage to eighth overall and first in class. It was then sold to Paul Vestey, who would go on to own the car on three different occasions. He raced the car with considerable success, winning his class together with Carlos Gaspar in the 1000 km races at Montlhery in 1966 and Monza in 1967. Vestey sold the car at the end of the 1967 season but it has always remained in British hands. After having owned the car again during the 1980s, Vestey eventually bought back the 1966 Le Mans class winning 275 GTB/C in 1992 and it is registered 1PEV today.
