Delivered to first owner Max Wilson in June of 1967, this T70 Mk3 Coupe was originally fitted with a 5.9-litre Chevrolet engine. It was raced in a handful of events that year, running as high as second in the Paris 1000 km until a damaged sump prompted a retirement. Not raced in 1968, it was returned to Lola where it was fitted with a Spyder body and a three-litre BRM V12 engine to compete in the Group 6 class. Dubbed the Lola T70P BRM, it was raced by Wilson with limited success during the 1969 and 1970 seasons. Following the car's contemporary racing career, the original coupe body was fitted again. From 1979, it has been campaigned in historic events on both sides of the Atlantic. From the early 1980s, it was owned for 25 years by George A. Hurd Jr., who regularly raced the car between 1987 and 2003. In 2007, it was acquired by Lola enthusiast Marc Devis. Having the raced the car for a few years, he had it comprehensively restored and repainted to its original British Racing Green colours. During the late 2010s, it joined the stable of a German historic racer.
