Chassis:
Sold new to the Briggs Cunningham and the Momo Corporation, this Jaguar-engined Knobbly is understood to have been sold on to the Nickey team. It was then acquired by Wisconsin-based racer Rich Vogel. Its period racing endeavours were very limited and in December of 1960, it was offered in Road & Track with just 1,000 miles on the odometer. It was reportedly then bought for veteran racer Howard Quick by his wife. Later in its life, the car was extensively modified and fitted with a Chevrolet V8. It has since been restored to its original configuration and passed through the hands of noted collectors Peter Giddings and Syd Silverman. Today, chassis BHL 112 is part of a prominent collection of a California-based historic racer.
