Chassis:
The second of a pair of 250 TRs acquired in 1958 by Belgium's Ferrari agent Jacques Swaters' Ecurie Francorchamps, chassis 0736TR was entered in the 24 Hours of Le Mans for 'Beurlys' and Alain de Changy. The pairing finished sixth overall and third in class. It continued to be campaigned by Ecurie Francorchamps and was raced at Le Mans once more when an engine failure ended the effort early. At the end of the 1959 season, it was sold to the United Kingdom, where it was uprated to TR59 specification and fitted with independent rear suspension. During the 1980s, it was finally restored to its original configuration. The current, American owner acquired the car in 1998.
