Chassis:
Through New York agent Liugi Chinetti, this 250 TR was sold new to Charles Hughes of Denver, Colorado. He entered the car during the 1958 season in SCCA events for Dan Collins, who was quite successful. It was later raced by Alex Budurin until the car was crashed late in 1960. Budurin rebuilt the car and adapted it for use on public roads. The current, British owner acquired the car in 1972 and in the following decades regularly raced and entered 0752TR in historic events. In 2001, it was completely restored by DK Engineering and finished in the dark blue livery used when raced by Dan Collins. It has since been factory certified.
