Chassis:
The fourth and final N177 produced, this example was never used in a contemporary Grand Prix. Instead, it was raced from new in the the Aurora AFX Championship. The MN09 serial was also used for a later N179, which has prompted suggestion that this car was actually built around the remains of the N176 crashed by Ickx late in 1976. Its best period result came at Sandown Park in February of 1979 where Geoff Lees finished second. From 1983, it has been used regularly and with great success in historic events. In the last couple of years, it has been a regular in the Monaco Historic Grand Prix and the Masters Formula 1 series.
