Chassis:
Finished in Italian racing red, chassis 2453 was sold to Edwin D. Martin of Columbus Georgia. He only raced the car a handful of times before crashing it very badly at Daytona in November of 1959. The remains of the car passed through various hands before ending up in England sometime in the 1990s. Here it was resurrected even though only very few original parts were still salvageable. The reconstructed car was bought by the current owner, a prominent British historic racer, in 1998.
