Chassis:
After its brief racing career, chassis 08020 was retained for some time by Luigi Chinetti. It was eventually sold to fellow American Howard Torman. He only rarely made an appearance in the unique racer and in the late 1990s offered it for sale for a modest $159,500. It was then acquired by the current owner and now shares a space in his collection alongside much more prominent Ferraris like a 250 GTO and 250 GT California. He had the car brought back to full running order and has since campaigned the 308 more often that it has ever done before. It is seen here during the 2004 Spa Ferrari Days and at the Le Mans Classic that same year and again in 2006.
