Chassis:
Completed in July of 1971 as a Miura SV and finished in white with a blue interior, this example was delivered new to a Rome-based Dr. Alcide. It is not known exactly when but before 1974, it was converted by the factory to SV/J specification and refinished a striking metallic purple. It was subsequently sold to Japan where it was restored in the late 1980s. In 2007, it joined the stable of an American collector, who entrusted the car to marque expert Gary Bobileff for a second, no expense spared restoration. Two years and $225,000 later, the work was completed. Its most recent owner acquired the car in 2010 and has since contacted the late Bob Wallace, who confirmed that this Miura was converted by the factory to SV/J specification.
