Chassis:
Finished with a black exterior and ivory interior, and equipped with covered headlights, this Series I 400 Superamerica was completed in July of 1961. It was delivered to longtime Ferrari customer and future rival Count Volpi of Scuderia Serenissima. He had originally bought the car through Ferrari agent Mario Camellini and his son Umberto bought the car back after from another Italian enthusiast in 1972. The Camellini cherished the rare Ferrari and preserved it beautifully. After over four decades of ownership, the family finally sold the car to the current owners in 2015.
