Chassis:
Originally finished in red with a black interior, this Short Wheelbase California Spyder came with covered headlights and a hardtop. It was delivered to its first owner early in 1962 through Luigi Chinetti. One of the first owner was folk musician Nick Reynolds and among the subsequent custodians were Harley Cluxton III and Anthony Bamford. In the latter's ownership, it was repainted black with a cream interior. Following a renewed spell in the United States, chassis 3059GT was acquired by the current, British owner in 2010. He had the car restored and today, it is finished in a non-original but very attractive light metallic blue.
