Chassis:
One of the first Short Wheelbase California Spyders, this covered headlight example made its public debut at the Paris Auto Salon in October of 1960. It was subsequently sold to a German owner. Following a brief spell in Switzerland, it made its way across to the United States where it remains today. Owned by the same enthusiast for over 30 years, it was sold at auction to the current owner in 2009. At the time, it was finished in red and came with a very rare hard-top. It has since been completely restored and refinished in a stylish black.
