Chassis:
Chassis '045' was one of the around 200 Stradale homologation specials produced. It was delivered new to an Italian enthusiast, who used the car only select occasions. Although more luxuriously appointed as the Group B cars, this road car still includes features more commonly found on a rally racer like a flashlight mounted in the passenger footwell, undoubtedly specified to read pace-notes at night. Having owned the car for over three decades, the original owner consigned the car to the 2015 RM Auctions Paris Sale. Beautifully preserved, it has under 14,000 km on the odometer and still wore its original set of Pirelli Cinturato tyres.
