This is the unique Type 32B, which holds the distinction as being the only Lotus built specifically for Jim Clark. Following its successful Tasman campaign with Clark, it was sold to an Australian privateer racer. It continued to be campaigned 'Down Under' by various drivers with various degrees of success. It was eventually acquired by noted Lotus collector, the late John Dawson-Damer. He later traded the car back to Classic Team Lotus, who have since campaigned the car with considerable success in Europe. Despite its long racing career, it is still in remarkably original condition and has never been completely apart.
