Chassis:
Acquired new by German racing legend Hans Stuck, now competing under an Austrian license, this Cisitalia D46 was completed in 1947. He used the car to win the Maipokalrennen at the Hockenheimring, which was the first German race after the War and a few months later, he also won the first Austrian race after the War; the Hungerburg hill-climb. At the end of the season, chassis 0027 was then sold to Austrian Otto Mathé, who used the car in minor events before diverting his time to building a racing car of his own design. He retained the car until his death in 1995 and it was sold from his estate to a fellow Austrian. He used the highly original car in events like the Monaco Historic Grand Prix.
