Chassis:
Prepared to Corsa specification by Autodelta, this GTA was not raced until 1968 when it was campaigned for the factory team by Lucien Bianchi and 'Vic'. Fitted with a supercharged engined, it was then raced with considerable success by Autodelta through to the summer of 1969. Raced by the likes of Ignazio Giunti, Teodore Zeccoli and Andrea de Adamich, it scored several class wins including at the Nürburgring in July of 1969. Sold by Autodelta in 1970 with a naturally aspirated engine, chassis AR613056 continued to be raced by private owners well into the 1973 season. In more recent years, it has been acquired by a British enthusiast, who had it meticulously prepared for historic racing by Alex Furiani. It has been raced with great success and verve the last couple of seasons by Furiani himself and Audi works racer Frank Stipler.
