Chassis: FW18-02
Chassis FW18-02 served as Damon Hill''s main test car in the build-up to the 1996 season. During the first three races of the season, it was used by Jacques Villeneuve. He placed FW18-02 on pole position in its first ever Formula 1 race and went on to finish second. The cars used in the three fly-away races (FW18-01 and FW18-02) were retired from racing duty but continued to serve as test and T-Cars. Today the second FW18 is still owned by Williams F1 and is currently on loan to the British National Motor Museum (Beaulieu).
