Chassis:
For the fourth race of the 1996 season, Damon Hill switched to chassis FW18-04. He used this chassis for a total of nine races, placing it on pole five times, scoring four wins and amassing a hefty 49 points. After finishing second at the Hungaroring, chassis FW18-04 was not raced it again. It did serve as a spare car for the remaining four races. Retained by Williams F1, it was brought out for the 2009 Goodwood Festival of Speed where 40 years of Sir Frank Williams in Formula 1 was celebrated. On Sunday, it was driven up by Damon Hill. It was back at Goodwood again in 2014 where it was shared by Felipe Nasr, Karun Chandhok and Damon Hill himself.
