Chassis:
One of a handful of Carrera RSR 2.8s delivered to France, this example was raced extensively by Claude Ballot-Léna. He debuted with a class win at Montlhéry and then would go on to win to score several outright victories in the European GT Championship. At the end of the year, the car was also raced at the Tour de France until a gearbox problem prompted an early retirement. It continued to be raced in various guises for some time. Following a spell in Spain, it is now back in French ownership and restored to its successful, 1973 configuration.
