Chassis:
Completed in March of 1935, this 6C 34 was sold directly to Gino Rovere's Scuderia Subalpina. It was raced by the team's drivers that include 'Phi Phi' Etancelin and Giuseppe Farina. It is believed that this was the car used to place third at the 1935 Tunis Grand Prix by Etancelin. The car was later returned to the factory and was still owned by Maserati when the company moved from Bologna and Modena in the late 1940s. Along with the rest of the Maserati collection, this car was sold to Umberto Panini by Alejandro DeTomaso. At the time, it was little more than a rolling chassis but it has since been lovingly restored to its original guise.
