Chassis:
This GTA Corsa was constructed in August of 1965 and prepared for competition by Autodelta. It may have been the car raced by Jochen Rindt to victory in the season opening 1966 Trans-Am race at Sebring. Along with the other Autodelta cars, it was subsequently sold to an American privateer racer. Tim O'Brien first raced the car and it continued to be campaigned in contemporary races well into the 1970s. The car remained in the United States for another 30 years before it was sold to the UK in 2005. It has since been restored to the livery used by Rindt to take the victory at Sebring, even though experts are still not certain that this was the actual car used. In more recent years, it was acquired by a German enthusiast.
