Chassis:
One of as few as two Shelby Mustang GT350 Rs sold to Europe, this example was acquired by German racer and Ford racing team principle Jochen Neerpasch. Before it arrived in Germany, it went through John Wyer's Ford Advanced Vehicles, who also built GT40s for Ford. Neerpasch extensively campaigned the car in Germany, including at the Nürburgring 1000 km in 1966. Ahead of the 1967, it was sold to German privateer racer Friedhelm Theissen, who continued to race the car with considerable success in local events. At the end of the year, it was sold on and continued to be campaigned in Europe until 1980. Chassis SFM5R107 then returned to the United States, and between 2002 and 2006, it was comprehensively restored by Curt Voigt. In 2011, it was acquired by a Swiss enthusiast, who has since campaigned it at select events in Europe.
