The tenth and last 207A produced, the history of this Abarth after it arrived in with New York dealer Tony Pompeo is not known. It eventually surfaced during the 1990s when it was owned by Argentinean Abarth and Cisitalia enthusiast Dr Sergio A. Lugo. Among the other great cars owned by Lugo were a Cisitalia SSM and Abarth 1000 Coupe. Following the spell in Argentinean hands, it was acquired by Fabrizio Violati for his fabulous Maranello Rosso. Following his passing in 2010, the museum was disbanded and the entire collection passed to a Dutch enthusiast. Many cars were sold but the Abarth was retained until it was consigned to the 2025 RM Sotheby’s Milan sale.
